Vernors Ginger Ale
$35.99
Released January, 2011
The Pros:Delicious. Oldest surviving soft drink - invented in 1866. Great for "Dark and Stormy's" and I'm not talking about the weather.
The Cons:Very sweet - too sweet for some. Less ginger taste than it had years ago. Bad for you - little nutritional value, high amount of carbs.
Vernors is the oldest serving soft drink in America. It was created in 1866 through an experiment to try and recreate ginger ale from Ireland. Vernors is a sweet "golden" ginger ale that derives its color from caramel and has a flavor similar to ginger beer.

Teenage Consumer:
#vernors_ginger_ale Haha, not to be a cocky know-nothing youngster or anything, but maybe the con about it having less of a gingery taste than it had years ago isn't the formula's fault... it could just be your own dying taste buds. I'm just pointing that out.
