Pringles Original are a brand of potato and wheat based snacks originally developed by Proctor & Gamble. They were designed not to crumble and stay in shape unlike potato chips that come in a bag.

They're packaged in a cardboard tin similar to what you would see tennis balls packaged in. Pringles have only about 42% potato content, the remainder being wheat starch and flours (potato, corn, and rice) mixed with vegetable oils and an emulsifier. They are also said to be less greasy when compared to regular potato chips. Contrary to popular belief they are actually fried the same way normal chips are however you will notice less grease on your fingers when you're eating them.
There are now many flavors of Pringles available however Original continue to be the most popular. Pringles are sold in 140 countries worldwide and have yearly sales of over 1 Billion dollars.
