Pepsi Cola is a carbonated soft drink that is manufactured by PepsiCo. The drink was first introduced in the US in 1898 and is now sold in stores, vending machines, and restaurants worldwide.
The original formula of the beverage contained pepsin to aid in digestion and kola nuts for flavouring, leading to the name Pepsi. Besides the original Pepsi Cola, PepsiCo is now available in a variety of other flavours, the most popular being Diet Pepsi. Other variations include caffeine-free Pepsi and Diet Pepsi, Pepsi Max, Pepsi One, as well as Wild Cherry, Lime, and Vanilla Diet Pepsi.
