Glaceau Vitamin Water
$2.99
Released January, 2006
The Pros:Available in a wide variety of flavors. Widely available- can find them in pretty much every convenience and grocery store. Tasty.
The Cons:591ml bottle contains 32g of added sugar - American Heart Association recommends max daily added sugar consumption of 25g for women and 37.5g for men. Misleading marketing paints it as a healthy beverage when Coca-Cola has publicly stated it is not. Made untruthful health claims in past advertisement - not actually 'healthy' due to excessive sugar and little true nutritional value.
Vitamin Water is a non-carbonated soft drink manufactured by Glaceau, a subsidiary of Coca-Cola. Vitamin Water comes in a variety of flavours, and the common theme is the addition of vitamins and minerals.

Each flavour has a particular purported use based on the included vitamins. Some flavours also contain caffeine or other mild stimulants (taurine or guarana, e.g.) to serve as energy drinks. As an example, a general flavour called Formula 50 contains 50% of the daily recommended intake of a variety of basic vitamins. Each flavour has a unique colour and description on the bottle. Standard Vitamin Water contains no artificial sweeteners, though it is sweetened with fructose and contains roughly half the sugar of a typical sweetened soft drink (e.g. Coca-Cola). There is a parallel line of no-calorie Vitamin Water products, called Vitamin Water Zero.
