The Pros:Very addictive. Unique, good taste. Sweet and spicy.
The Cons:Only available in Canada (and maybe France). Uses Sucralose - artificial sweetener (at least everywhere I've seen it). More seasoning...more heat.
Hoooooo-wheee! Sweet, bold, and spicy. A new flavour of Doritos tortilla chips that combines sugar, garlic, onion, and chili. Available only in Canada. Despite the "bold" art and emphasis on "red chili pepper heat", this stuff is as bland as paprika as far as heat is concerned, extremely deceptive and disappointing.

#doritos_sweet_chili_heat Are you guys retarded? These chips are ingenious! AMAZING! They have to be thee best thing that i have ever tasted, their sex in a bag. Whenever i eat any kind of Doritos they get boring after a few hand fulls, where as the "Sweet Chili Heat!" dorito is an explosion of taste in every bite!

#doritos_sweet_chili_heat I think if you are buying any food product in Canada marketed as being "hot" or "spicy" you have to take it with a grain of salt. It seems Canadians generally prefer milder versions of spicy foods in comparison to say, Mexico, or even the United States. These Doritos are awesome, but could use some more heat, as with many similar products here in Canada. ;)

#doritos_sweet_chili_heat Sweet Chili Heat is definately not discontinued. In fact, in Canada it is the 2nd best Doritos flavour, besides Doritos Nacho. The origins of this flavour lye in the UK, where they are called Doritos Chili Heatwave. The UK initially launched this flavour, and because of its success, was brought over to Canada as Sweet Chili Heat.

#doritos_sweet_chili_heat Gotta admit - I hated the Sweet Chili Doritoes, and I really like most flavours of them. The sucralose thing really turned me off... weird artificial sweet taste and not enough spice.

hilarious, I'll throw everything you just said about Canadian beer (besides the price) right back at you about American beer. Budweiser? MGD? terrible terrible beers.
Both Canada and the U.S. have some amazing microbreweries doing some incredible work. I don't know how much experience you have with Canadian brewers - or beer in general, but I've had over 300 different beers at least with a good split between Europe, Canada and the States (and other areas in there too here and there). Unibroue (http://www.unibroue.com/english.cfm) makes some of the best beers I've ever had, and many other Canadian beers are worth mentioned: Steamwhistle Pilsner, most of the Mill st. brews, Granite Brewery has an excellent line, Amsterdam Blonde, McAuslan's Apricot Wheat Ale, KLB's raspberry wheat ale, Denisson's (sp?)... and the list can go on... but this is offtopic so I'll leave it at that.

#doritos_sweet_chili_heat I think Doritos has Cool Ranch and Nacho Cheese as baked flavours. They're offered in both types - regular and baked. The Doritos bag is marked with a big Baked! at the top, otherwise I don't think they're baked.

#doritos_sweet_chili_heat I still live in Waterloo, and I was actually at Ben Thanh recently. I always stick with the Pho though as I love it: delicious, great value, healthy. It's a winning combination that can't be beat. But for you, next time I'm there I'll try the Red Thai chicken curry. And I agree with you about the London location as well, I've only been to the one near the train station, it's ok, nothing great.

#doritos_sweet_chili_heat Well, Omar. I can only respond by saying I've spent time in Waterloo as my girlfriend used to live there on Davenport across from The Keg on Northfeild. She too is a U of Waterloo alum (BA & MA). I can only say that you must be upset because you know I'm right. There isn't one thing in my last post that isn't 100% correct.
Although I will say this about Canada, and Waterloo in particular. The Ben Thanh's Viet-Thai place in Waterloo on Northfeild has the best Red Thai chicken curry in the universe. If you haven't eaten there and still live in Waterloo, I suggest you run, don't walk, to go try their food. Their London locations aren't nearly as good though.

#doritos_sweet_chili_heat I am dating a chick from Ontario and one of the best things about visiting her is the Sweet Chili Heat Doritos! It mildly offsets the fact that everything in Canada is overpriced. Especially chicken at the grocery store, books and beer. Not to mention their taxes are disgusting. And to revisit the beer thing; Canadians have been brainwashed, there isn't a decent beer made in Canada, and if there was, I'd probably never taste it because it would cost $50 CAD for a two-four. That country needs to check themselves.
